Have you tried printing on Bamboo?

We live in one of the world’s most beautiful destinations and we want to keep doing our part to ensure we are taking care of our home the best way we can. One of the ways to do this is to print on bamboo paper! Below is a list of reasons why bamboo products are efficient and can help with sustainability practices (from cabooproducts.com and lewisbamboo.com).

  1. Biodegradable – Bamboo fibers quickly dissolve back into the earth so it’s safe for all disposal systems.
  2. Rapidly Renewable and Sustainable – Bamboo are grasses, not hardwoods and are some of the fastest growing grasses on earth. (A bamboo plant can grow up to 24in in a day!)
  3. Virgin Fibers – Bamboo is virgin fibers so they don’t require heavy bleaching of inks and dyes as in recycled paper products.
  4. Save Trees – Bamboo can replace trees for pulp production and help to save trees and endangered forests.
  5. Reduce Soil Erosion – Bamboo can grow in environments with depleted soil and little water and actually returns nutrients to the soil, improving degraded areas.
  6. Clean Air – Bamboo minimizes CO2 gases and produces 35% more oxygen than a comparable regular tree... helps scrub our air pollution faster.
